Own the Outcome
Don't wait for someone else to notice a problem.
Careers at Conroe Digital
At Conroe Digital, we care a lot more about the work you produce than the hours you spend producing it.
There is no prize for being the first person online in the morning or the last person to log off at night.
Structure your workday around when you do your best work, take ownership of your responsibilities, meet your commitments, and deliver work you are proud to put your name on.
We offer a lot of freedom. We expect a lot in return.
Remote-first. Flexible schedules. High accountability. Community rooted in Montgomery County, Texas.

We don't believe great work requires everyone to sit at a computer during the same eight-hour window.
Some people do their best work at 6 in the morning. Others hit their stride later in the day. Some days require a long push. Other days don't.
We'd rather give talented people room to work than manage activity for the sake of activity.
That freedom comes with a tradeoff: your work has to deliver.
We won't micromanage you. We also won't lower the standard.
High Autonomy. High Accountability.
We give talented people unusual freedom over how they work. In return, we expect unusual ownership of the results.
We manage outcomes, not hours.
Work at 7 AM. Work at 4 AM. Put in one focused hour today and eleven tomorrow if that's what your responsibilities require.
We aren't interested in measuring how long your green status light stays on. We're interested in whether the work gets done, gets done well, and gets done when you said it would.

You don't need someone checking over your shoulder every hour. You should know what you own, what success looks like, and when it needs to be completed.
In return for that independence, we maintain a high standard for quality, reliability, and follow-through.
Our responsibility is to give you clear expectations, useful processes, training, tools, and support. Your responsibility is to use them and take ownership of the result.
Everybody makes mistakes.
A bad day isn't a strike. Asking for help isn't a strike. Trying something ambitious that doesn't work isn't automatically a strike either.
A pattern is different.
Consistently missing agreed-upon deadlines or repeatedly turning in work below the established quality standard isn't compatible with the amount of independence we give our team. That's where our Three Strikes Rule comes in. Three consecutive preventable failures to meet established expectations means it's probably time for us to part ways.
The standard isn't perfection. It's ownership.
Your laptop can travel. Your understanding of the people we serve should run deeper.
Conroe Digital is a remote-first company. You will generally have the flexibility to perform your work from your own workspace rather than commuting to a traditional office every day.
But we're building an agency around the communities we serve. That means our remote positions are intended for people who live close enough to the Conroe and Montgomery County market to understand the community and meet with clients in person when the work calls for it.
For roles designated as locally remote, you should generally live within approximately a 45-minute drive of the primary Conroe/Montgomery County service area. This allows you to work remotely while remaining close enough for occasional client meetings, local events, collaboration, or other situations where being there in person makes more sense than another video call. The exact geographic eligibility requirements are stated on each individual job posting.
Work remotely. Know the market personally.
Clients don't hire Conroe Digital because they need another pair of hands. They hire us for expertise.
That's why we believe in a simple idea internally: Let us cook.
When you're responsible for something here, you're expected to develop an informed point of view, explain your reasoning, listen when someone challenges it, and change course when the evidence says you should.
But we don't expect talented people to blindly execute strategies they believe are wrong simply because someone said so.

The same applies to our client relationships. We'll listen carefully to clients. We'll respect their knowledge of their businesses. We'll explain our recommendations. We'll disagree professionally when necessary. And if a relationship reaches the point where a client fundamentally doesn't trust our expertise, we're comfortable acknowledging that we may no longer be the right agency for them.
Expertise without the freedom to use it isn't expertise.
Don't wait for someone else to notice a problem.
Deadlines and commitments matter.
“Good enough” shouldn’t become a habit.
Bad news gets worse when you hide it.
Bring recommendations, not just problems.
Your expertise should compound over time.
High accountability goes both ways. We expect you to hold up your end of the bargain. You should expect us to hold up ours.
We won't micromanage how you structure every hour.
You'll know what you own and how success is measured.
Independence doesn't mean you're abandoned when you need help.
Compensation should be transparent and tied to the responsibility and value of the role.
You should receive SOPs, training, tools, and defined processes rather than being expected to figure everything out through chaos.
High performers should have somewhere to go.

This is not a job posting. Submitting this form does not guarantee consideration for employment. We handle applicant information carefully: it is stored securely, used only to evaluate potential fit, and never sold or used for marketing.
We're trying to build the kind of company talented people don't need to escape from to do their best work. Freedom without chaos. High standards without micromanagement. Growth without forcing everyone into management.
